A Full but Passive Microbe Biome

Postby Don Schaeffer » Sat Mar 01, 2025 2:34 pm

This is the basic material of an active protist biome floating on a stagnant water pool. Many protist-like organism-like components are floating motionless on the water. The very smallest organism-like objects are the only ones that show movement. Floating in the water are the remains of plants that have been decaying in the water. I am struck by the fact that the apparent population of organisms are motionless. Motion is limited to some small bacteria-like organic shapes.
