Bottom of the Mudpuddle

These organisms are found on thin broken pieces of biofilm that sink to the bottom of the mudpuddle. A biofilm floats on top of the old stagnant water sample. By now the activity on top of the biofilm is limited to small bacteria and a different sort of stationary form piles up on the floor of the water sample.
