All Creatures Great and Small

I often steal the name of this original nature TV show. It is a tribute to the work of a great television tradition. To me it also marks the presence of enormous variety and mystery in nature. Who knows what these creatures really signify? They seem tp move about in their aimless urgency. There are lives which may or may not be individual lives that come and go mysteriously completely out of sight.
