These pointy-shaped leaves have a rubbery texture. They are filled with gelatine. The cells are sack-like containing gelatin-like fluid. I included images of the leaves and the leaf stems. This is a beautiful lawn plant. One can get an idea why they are so attractive from the microscopic perspective.
