https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YHEDkCmPH7oIt's writ large because I drew a larger sample than usual so I can see the full range of the community in the puddle. It does turn out that the variety of species represented is not especially broad. There is a thriving colony of vorticella, many colleps, garden variety ciliates and smaller organisms. Diatoms and other algae are there. The worms make their appearance, and bacteria are busy.
