The Established Country: Rubber Tree Leaf

As a gift, my friend gave me a leaf that had fallen from her rubber tree.
In my mind this is a kind of royalty of plants, established, organized,
and safe. I cut samples from the surface of the leaf and the interior stem
which runs the length of the leaf. I shaved the samples thin and made my
usual visual journey wandering over them. Lovely and simple. Take a look.
