Cuts and Folds

These are early stages in the destruction of a piece of vegetation which was soaking in biologically active water. If you look closely you can see very small bacteria moving through the vegetable matter. But you can also see folds and some embedded shapes of larger organisms. This is a piece of fruit vegetation in the biome for a relatively short time. Some of the larger rectangular cells from the fruit are visible floating in the solution.
