A Growing Microbe Metropolis

Postby Don Schaeffer » Thu Jan 02, 2025 9:46 am

The middle growth stage of microbe communities is when the nutrition supply is reaching beyind the halfway point and the organisms are still wildly reproducing. At that stage larger protists are still active (at least in form) and density is thinning so that open water provides free space for nutrition gathering. This is a cycle of life and we are near the halfway point now.
