After a month or so if conditions are right biomes mature. Some individual organisms are moving about the water and others are in stationary resting phases. In this view, There are several kinds of organisms, including a larger multi-celled rotifer. In most samples I see, rotifers are comparatively rare. They are more often found in free natural water sources. My samples generally come from jars of stagnant water.
