My friend was making a salad and asked me if I wanted to take a tour of her cilantro. I agreed even though I would never eat cilantro. It tastes like soap. The tour was a slog through wet territory/ I viewed the floating chlorophyll balls in the leaf and, after getting through the watery outer curtain, the prototypical orderly cell structures in the stem.
