The Variety Biome in my Artificial Puddle

The little bubble thing covered with long cilia
goes racing around then stops where it left from.
The tulip-shaped vorticella-relative zips itself closed
then slowly resumes its endless stirring---drawing tiny things into its mouth.
The spooky amoeba wends it way to and fro.
Little balls of nervousness move through the fluid buffered about
by crashing water molecules.
All those sticks and circles shake themselves about like the hokey pokie.
