Very Small Microbes in a Biofilm

Postby Don Schaeffer » Sat Sep 07, 2024 12:15 pm

This biome is starting slowly. A biofilm can be detected on the surface of the water even though the population of micro-organisms seems small. These images were shot between the 40x and the 60x objectives. There seem to be a lot of bacteria-sized organisms and some very small protozoans. I am interested to see how this biome develops.
