Growth on a Rotted Cucumber
Posted: Fri Jun 23, 2023 9:06 amA cucumber from the refrigerator has begun to break down as a slipper liquid has accumulated on the surface. I took a sample of the thick deposit to examine it. What I found was hard to see. Half dissolved in the thick liquid around the vegetable matter were roughly spherical cell structures and some hairy-looking cells.
