As Winnipeg (my city) warms up where most days are above freezing, I am getting ready to construct new biomes. The leaves and vegetation I put in the cultures are being consumed by protists. In many cases, only the remains of the leaves I used as nutrition are thin skins now. But interesting action remains, a story of smaller organisms and states of change in the biome.
