Bacteria in a Motionless Biofilm

Postby Don Schaeffer » Wed Sep 04, 2024 12:27 pm

This sample was drawn from the Red River about four moths ago. It has been changing and organic forms have been emerging. But these are more or less motionless. I can see some very small bacterial activity. The content of this biofilm has been developing but there is little sign of motion. Change in the biome is happening very slowly.
