Leftovers Still Available

The protists have been dissecting a few leaves in the mudpuddle for a few days, since I dropped the leaves into the water. It's an industry for them although they are probably not capable of organized labor. I never see them attacking each other. They spend their time swimming back and forth soaking in their nutrients.
