A few microbe species have combined their endeavors to clear out the degraded vegetation in the mudpuddle. The interesting thing is the way the distribution of species changes as the degradation and absorption process proceeds. I few larger protist species have become more prominent. It is interesting to see these larger organisms in the mix. But the small protists are still the major transition agents.
