Views of a Cobweb

I found a treasure on our front terrace. I pulled it from it's tree twig and pressed on a microscope slide. It is a cobweb. I never studied one before. The cobweb is a mix of fibers, possibly from different sources. The main fibers have segmented structure with compartments. The material is optically active. You have to focus through it.
