The Bark of a Palm Tree

A small palm tree on the window sill was the
opportunity to view the bark of a woody plant.
I prepared a slide of a thin slice of bark--
which generally broke up into fibers.
It was a novel journey that included some
wonderful scenery like no where else on earth.
