I examined a leaf from a lawn plant that had been soaking in rain water for a few weeks to see if I can recognize signs of biological process from decay. One can never be sure of course, but I did see many circular forms in the leaf after that time. The circular forms did look alien from the leaf structure. These circular forms may have originating from the biological decay.
