This biome is slowly and simply maturing. It is partly covered with a detectible biofilm. There are a few rotifers (but I couldn't catch them on the camera). Some of the protists appear to be feeding on large pieces of organic matter or dead microbes. Some appear to absorb nutrition without specifically feeding.
