Just in the last week or so I have begun seeing larger protists and an expanded population of organisms. The mudpuddle has become more articulated. Colonies of particular organisms have begun to separate and differentiate over the surface. The population ranges between very small protists and larger paramecium type protists. I am also seeing rotifers again..
