You can almost say that the mandarin orange invented plastic. The outer skin is shiny and difficult to cut. Its even hard to scrape it down to make an easy subject for the microscope. These pictures represent my effort to see and photograph the cells in a mandarin orange peel. In some pictures you can see cell structures but in some pictures all structures get massed into a confusion. It really is hard to photograph.
