I have been interested in tomato seeds for some time. The seeds themselves are very hard to dissect and view because they are amazingly hard to cut and too thick to conveniently view. But viewing the gelatin that surrounds the seed is itself very interesting. There are structures suspended in the gelatin that appear to have special integrity.
