As the weather got warmer, I collected grass and added the plant matter to water from the sink. After a day, the water had developed a new biofilm and protozoan life is massive. The only problem with this kind of sample is lack of clear diversity. Sometimes things do happen though.

One thing I do notice is something I call "friendship." Once in a while I see two protists of the same type that seem "attached" to one another or seem making close, prolonged physical contact.
