Once again, an innocent houseplant is the subject of my curiosity. I took a leaf from a decorative houseplant in the dining room and carefully rendered it as transparent as I could by scraping off cell layers. Sections of the leaf were rendered quite transparent so that cell structures could be clearly seen. Look for the individual differences between cells and the difference between the main body of the leaf and the edge of the leaf stem.
