My salt water aquarium shows new signs of life after I added some strictly non-oceanic plant material from garden scraps. Although I am maintaining some level of salinity in the water by adding aquarium salt, the organisms I find here have nothing to do with the ocean. These are organisms able to survive in some level of salty water, but probably were clinging to the vegetation from the garden I added to the tank.
