This is simple and commonplace, perhaps not appreciated enough. I took a trip inside the hollow tube of a dandelion stem. There is much to see here. In some ways it represents the fundamental, classic plant with thin fibers, stretched half-fluid membranes, long cells load with green chloroplasts, and tiny living organelles moving within the cell walls.
