I did my usual search for plant subjects today and found,
laying in a pot, a section of a plant that had been torn
from the soil (probably by a cat).
I cut a section of the root and prepared it on a slide.
What greeted me was a crystal wonderland of cells.
The microscope doesn't make beauty, but you can certainly
find it in the most unlikely of places.
