Among the branches of a tropical plant in the living room
are small sack-like containers that include developing flowers
and other parts of the reproductive function.
I took a small sample of one of the flower-like parts,
dissected it a little and examined it under the microscope.
It was a short but enjoyable journey into the near-but-far-away.
