Leaf structures in a rubber tree, (Hevea brasiliensis)
Posted: Sat Feb 17, 2024 12:54 pmThe cells of a so-called rubber plant are flat and thick. They look like flat stones that you might use in a sculpture. These leaves are filled with viscous sap which oozes forward when the leaf is punctured.
