Rubbery Leaf Weave

Postby Don Schaeffer » Fri Feb 09, 2024 3:00 pm

A leaf that grows away from the main stem has a unique appearance. It looks like a fabric made out of strips. I'm certain that is not what it is because plants don't grow like that. But the appearance is very convincing. Fluids in the leaf disturb the focus of the photograph so everything is unclear. But it really does resemble woven cloth.
