Pre-biofilm Protist Community

Two days ago I refreshed the biome by pouring out some of the water, adding new grass vegetation, and adding new water from the tap. The dense biofilm is gone. There does not yet appear to be a developed community of protists. The dried vegetation I added is just beginning to soften, and a population of protists and bacteria are appearing.
