Renewing The Microbe Stock

I started a new mudpuddle by moving a portion of the sample to a jar with new water. Doing this can be tricky in the Winter because you can end up killing more organisms than you save. In this case the beginning does seem promising because, clearly, the biofilm is diluted but still in effect.
