Small and Subtle Cells of the Miniature Apple

I sampled some small apples from our yard trees, looking at the tough structures just inside of the skins. I found the cells difficult to photograph. The initial photos I took looked very disorganized. But examining a number of samples I found the places where the cell structures were clear.
