A Burst of Biome Growth

Over the last two days the biofilm rapidly matured and intensified. There is a range of species and types and activity levels are high. The water itself is gel-like over the surface. There also seems to be several species of organism in development as well. The weather has been warmer than average, well above freezing, for this time of year.
