Very Small Protists in a New Culture

I started a new grass culture during a brief spell as temperatures went above freezing. I found a sizable group of peculiarly-shaped organisms which look like two round organisms bound together. They appear in some numbers in the culture. There were some larger protists but they moved too fast to catch them. We'll see what develops. The highest magnification for these is about 1,000x.
