I have taken many photos through the microscope of this small plant with fat gelatine-filled leaves. I somehow feel a kinship with these plants because they feel alive more than other plants. It's nonsense of course. The leaves are like tiny sensitive tanks that contain essentials of life and the potential to interact with the other cells and the world beyond.
