The Oily Cells of a Rubbery Leaf

Postby Don Schaeffer » Sun Oct 08, 2023 9:50 am

I am attracted to fleshy leaves. It's as if the leaves and I have a kinship that reaches across biological domains. This plant is growing on the living room shelf. Many of the leaves were drying at the tips which made me curious about the biological state of the plant. I photographed the tissue at the top and bottom of the leaves and some cross section shots.
