Cucumber Cells

The first images are thin horizonal sections of the seed of the cucumber. The second group of images show the fluid-filled fruit. The cucumber is one of the world's most transparent fruits. It is difficult to photograph the cell structure of the cucumber without stain and these images are far from perfect. The cucumber has large cells that look look like juice containers.
