Biofilm is Clearing the Water

The biofilm has been developing, generating a dense elastic medium in the water. It affects the visual clarity of the view in the water. The actual number of visible organisms is reduced to thick patchy clumps. The microbes have reduced the vegetation in the water from floating vegetation to thin translucent islands.
