Life Anew: New Biofilm Start

The biofilm I had nursed from infancy finally ran its course. I drew a new sample from the nearby mudpuddle with this result. It is a puddle rich in bacteria being tapped by an active family of protists and micro-animals.

New Mudpuddle Sample

I started a new mudpuddle from the same population as before. The water was very viscous with biofilm. There was a large bacteria population in the sample. This bodes well for the future energy of the population.
