Dying Biome

Life in the mudpuddle may have consumed what it can of available nutrients. The mudpuddle may have to be renewed by replacement. After a little over two months the life in the mudpuddle seems to have reached a terminal phase. What was an active biome has become static. My guess is that the life support elements in the culture have been consumed. Time to start a new culture.
