Life in Salty Water

My small salt water stagnant water pool is a contribution from my grand-daughter's salt water aquarium. At this stage it has nothing to do with seawater. Any nautical remnants have long ago vanished. It has to do with the behavior of local microbial life in a salty environment. There are many small ciliates that hide in the vegetation fragments. There are many smaller organisms. Bacteria mass inside the walls of stems and leaf matter helping to degrade it.
