The water in the small stagnant water biome has turned yellow as the elm leaves, which largely nourished it, have been disintegrating. The neighborhood of the decaying leaves is populated by a variety of microbes, flagellates, bacteria, and protists. Colonies of bacteria, tiny flagellates, and strange wrigglers can be found even distances away from the leaves.
