With all its beauty, a flower petal is a business-like part of a larger organism. Many of the cells of the flower are organized, clear, and elegant. I used the microscope to point out the complexity and utility of a flower. It is beautiful in a way that is arranged for its purpose but has a framework of construction that goes beyond beauty.
