Examining a piece of ginger, I found a confusion I was confused about before. The low magnifications show the ginger constructed of an orderly pattern of cells. The higher magnifications seem to confuse the pattern and emphasize features within the cells because the cells are too big to be seen under high power. The ginger has two faces.
