I am really running out of plants to look at. So today I decided to examine the potato I was planning to use for lunch. The potato is a sugar receptacle,. Round cells contain the sugary fluids like little tanks that look like bubbles simply piled together. The skin of the potato, which protects the whole thing, has regular, angular well organized cells.
