The pulp of most fruit is very fibrous so that seeing cells structure in them is nearly impossible. The apple is different, it's solid inside. The flesh contains many small irregular cells which hold the liquid content of the fruit. I look at thin slides of the skin and the fruit of apples from my friend's back yard apple trees.
