Muddpuddles have a lifespan, but hopefully can be eternally reviived. My salt water aquarium clearly reached the end of its time and I couldn't properly revise it without the necessary salt water. I created a second fresh water biome which is now at the beginning of its lifespan. My original mudpuddle is now more than a year old. The range of organisms in it had declined. I am adding new grass and leaves to try to revive the variety of organisms. First I present images from the newer mudpuddle then the older one for comparison.
